A method for managing the geographical map comprises steps of capturing the map; capturing a second object, wherein at least one item of object information is assigned to each of the first and second objects; determining a third object which, among the first objects, has the greatest similarity to the second object; and assigning the identifier of the third object to the second object if the determined greatest similarity exceeds a predetermined amount.
