Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a device for a door leaf or a window casement comprising a lowering bar (2) and a lowering mechanism (4) for raising and lowering the lowering bar (2). In the lowered position, the lowering bar (2) closes a gap between a floor and the door leaf or window casement. The device is a lowerable intruder protection and comprises at least one locking member (6, 7, 8) which prevents the lowered lowering bar (2) being raised by the application of force from the outside. The device according to the invention provides effective prevention against intrusion by simple means.
