A vehicle communication device (1) includes first and second Wi-Fi modules (20A and 20B), and a controller (40). The first and second Wi-Fi modules (20A and 20B) can wirelessly communicate with a plurality of access points (AP) for communication relay, and are of the same communication standard as each other. The controller (40) controls the first Wi-Fi module (20A) and the second Wi-Fi module (20B) on the basis of radio field intensity of the first Wi-Fi module (20A) and the second Wi-Fi module (20B) with respect to the plurality of access points (AP), and a predetermined threshold. The controller (40) prohibits connection of the first Wi-Fi module (20A) and the second Wi-Fi module (20B) with the access points in a case where the radio field intensity of the first Wi-Fi module (20A) and the second Wi-Fi module (20B) is lower than the threshold, for example.
