OVERLOAD PROTECTION ARRANGEMENT

The invention relates to an overload protection assembly for protecting an overvoltage protection structural element. The assembly comprises at least one overvoltage protection component, two couplingelements for coupling the overvoltage protection component to a current or signal path to be protected, a support with a current-conducting element and at least one actuator, the first coupling element comprises a thermosensitive contact element, at least one overvoltage protection component is connected with to the support by a first pole via the thermo-sensitive contact element, a second pole is connected to a current-conducting element of the support via a second coupling element, and the at least one overvoltage protection component can be brought into a second position in the event of thermal overload by means of at least one actuator, in which electrical contact via the temperature-sensitive contact element is interrupted. The overload protection assembly is characterized in that the second coupling element is constructed and arranged such that it enables movement of the overvoltage protection structural element from the first position into the second position.
