Provided is an injection molding machine capable of appropriately returning to a normal state in a case where an abnormality relating to an internal processing operation occurs. For this reason, an injection molding machine of an embodiment of the invention is activated in a restricted activation mode where a part of functions is restricted with respect to a case where the injection molding machine is activated in a usual activation mode. For example, in a case where a diagnosis processing operation or a maintenance processing operation with relatively low priority is unable to be executed due to an abnormality that an execution frequency of a high-priority processing operation with relatively high priority becomes higher than usual, when the injection molding machine is activated in the restricted activation mode later, the injection molding machine executes only a diagnosis processing operation or a maintenance processing operation among processing operations that are executed in a case where the injection molding machine is activated in the usual activation mode.
