Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a winding station (1) comprising a base (2). A support (4) which can be moved by a drive unit (3) is mounted on the base (2), and a receiving support (6) for receiving a winding shaft, on which a layer material is wound or unwound, is arranged on the support (4). The invention is characterized in that the support (4) is equipped with an additional support (8) which can be moved relative to the support (4), wherein one end of the receiving support (6) is arranged on the additional support (8), and a force element is provided between the two supports (4, 8).
