Zusammenfassung:Disclosed is an SMA-STF based viscous damper, including: a first connector, a piston rod, a first end cover, a first damping cavity, a damping cylinder, a piston, a second damping cavity, a first SMA spring, a second SMA spring, a second end cover and a second connector. The first cover and the second cover are respectively provided at two ends of the damping cylinder. The damping cylinder has the first damping cavity and the second damping cavity between which the piston is arranged. The first SMA spring and the second SMA spring are respectively sheathed on the piston rod. The first SMA spring and the second SMA spring are respectively held in the first damping cavity and the second damping cavity in an elastic state. The first damping cavity and the second damping cavity are respectively filled with the STF. When the piston moves towards one side, one of the SMA springs is retracted and the other returns correspondingly. Due to different extension amounts of the first and second SMA springs, the resistance difference of the first and second SMA springs provides the damping force for the SMA-STF based viscous damper. The SMA-STF based viscous damper of the present disclosure facilitates the energe dissipation under the low-frequency load, and a certain limit resistance is achieved when the structure has an excessive displacement. In addition, the SMA-STF based viscous damper is capable of self resetting after the load is removed. Moreover, it has a simple structure and is space-saving.
