Zusammenfassung:The present invention is related to a fixed dose combination tablet formulation comprising the glycosidase inhibitor acarbose (0-4,6-Didesoxy-4-{[(1S,4R,5S,6S)-4,5,6-trihydroxy-3-(hydroxymethyl)-2-cyclohexen-1-yl] amino}-a-D-glucopyranosyl-(1,4)-0-a-D-glucopyranosyl-(1,4)-D-glucopyranose) and the glycerin-3-phosphate-Dehydrogenase inhibitor metformin (1,1-Dimethylbiguanid), particularly the hydrochloride salt of metformin. Also provided are processes for producing a fixed dose combination tablet formulation.
