AUTOMATIC CHANNEL SELECTION IN A WLAN

A device, method and computer product for implementing Automatic Channel Selection, ACS, in a Wireless Local Area Network, WLAN (100), is described. A plurality of network operational data sets are received, corresponding to at least two node devices (206, 208(a, b, c)) of a plurality of node devices (206, 208, 209, 210, 211) of the WLAN (100). A selection is made, based on the operational data sets, for each link of a plurality of wireless links (202(a, b, c), 204) of the WLAN (100) that are connected in series and collectively include at least one wireless backhaul link (202) that connects the at least two node devices (206, 208), a communication channel for operating the wireless link (202, 204) from a plurality of communication channels. Transmission is instructed to transmit channel identification data to operate the selection for each wireless link (202, 204).
