Zusammenfassung: | An electro-mechanical lock (10) is provided for a door (28). The lock (10) includes inner and outer lock components (12, 14) mounted on opposite sides of the door (28) and a tube (18) extending between the inner and outer lock components (12, 14), the tube (18) being configured to receive a spindle (16) extending through the door (28). The tube (18) includes an electrical conductor (20) integrated with the tube (18) as a one-piece construction for transmitting electrical power and/or control signals between first and second electrical connectors (30, 40) at the inner and outer lock components (12, 14) The tube (18) is less fragile than conventional double tube arrangements in locks and thus can be more easily cut to length and installed at the door (28), improving reliability and cost effectiveness of methods of installation. |
