Zusammenfassung:	A split blade housing (7800) for supporting an annular rotary knife blade (7300) of a power operated rotary knife (7000) for rotation about a central axis of rotation (R). The split blade housing (7800) comprises an annular blade support section (7850), and a mounting section (7802) extending from the blade support section, the mounting section (7802) including a split (7801a) extending through the mounting section and an inner wall (7852) of the blade support section (7850) and defining a split distance between first and second circumferential ends (7852a, 7852b) of the inner wall (7852) of the blade support section (7852). The mounting section split (7801a) includes a first split portion (7801b) adjacent an outer wall (7806) of the mounting section (7802) and a second split portion (7801c) adjacent an inner wall (7804) of the mounting section (7802), the second split portion (7801c) extending transversely with respect to the first split portion (7801b).
