Zusammenfassung:	A media sensing device may include an electromagnetic radiation source, a light guide located on an opposite side of a media feed path respective to the electromagnetic radiation source, and a photodetector to detect electromagnetic radiation from the electromagnetic radiation source and directed by the light guide. The photodetector detects the presence of media upstream from a heated pressure roller (HPR) in response to the media obstructing the detection of electromagnetic radiation from the electromagnetic radiation source.
