Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a range hood device for a cooktop, which range hood device has at least one evacuation opening (30) in the upper side, a fan (32) which is offset toward the bottom relative to the evacuation opening (30) and a connecting channel (34) between the evacuation opening (30) and the fan (32). The range hood device (3) is characterized in that a divider compartment (312) is provided after the fan (32) in the direction of flow, said divider compartment having at least one air outlet opening (313) and being limited at least in part by sound-absorbing material (315, 316). In addition, the invention relates to kitchen furniture having at least one cooktop. The kitchen furniture (1) is characterized in that at least one such range hood device (3) is integrated into the kitchen furniture (1).
