The invention relates to a machine for preparing infused or macerated drinks (1) comprising a carafe (20) intended to receive a liquid and a receiving base (2), said receiving base (2) comprising a motor (4) intended for in rotating around an axis delta a drive shaft (3a, 3b), said carafe (20) comprising a filter basket (40) for receiving an ingredient to be infused or macerated which is driven inrotation by the drive shaft (3a, 3b) around the axis delta, said filter basket (40) being movable in the carafe (20) between an infusion position in which the filter basket (40) is immersed in the liquid and coupled with the drive shaft (3a, 3b), and a draining extracted position in which the filter basket (40) is arranged above the level of the liquid. According to the invention, the filter basket (40) is movable along the axis delta with a clearance reduced to a few millimeters when the filter basket (40) is in the infusion position, said beverage preparation machine (1 ) comprising a stopdevice (3a, 3b, 48, 54, 68) to limit the mobility of the filter basket (40) along the axis delta.
