Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a system and a method for tracking mobile assets, in which a tracking device is coupled to the mobile asset, the location thereof being determined by a mobile device entering the operating radius of a wave emitted by the tracking device (and / or vice versa), said mobile device having and running at least one computer program for this purpose.
