Zusammenfassung:	The invention describes a control unit (101) for a household appliance (100), which is designed to support a user in the production of food products. The control unit (101) is designed to determine recipe data (200) of the food product to be produced, said recipe data (200) comprising at least one working step (201) performed by the household appliance (100). Furthermore, the recipe data (200) comprises at least one precondition (203) relating to the state of the household appliance (100), which precondition should or must be satisfied in order to carry out the working step (201). The controlunit (101) is also provided for determining whether the precondition (203) is met. Furthermore, the control unit (101) is designed, if it is determined that the prerequisite (203) is not satisfied, totake measures to achieve the satisfaction of the prerequisite (203) or to achieve a reduction in the effect of the unsatisfied prerequisite (203) on the food product to be produced.
