In one or more embodiments, the system includes a base with a curved surface, a cold-formed glass substrate with a thickness of 1.5 mm or less and a first radius of curvature of 500 mm or greater, and an adhesive between the curved surface and the glass substrate. Methods for forming such systems are also disclosed. The systems and methods include components and/or design modifications or methods for reducing stress in the adhesive.
