Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a finger guard device (S) for a door, comprising a shutter curtain having a shutter curtain length (2) which, when the finger guard device is used as intended, covers a gap between a door leaf (F) and a door frame (R) of the door and which rolls up when the door leaf is closed. An inhibiting unit (5, 6, 7, 8, 9) is provided which inhibits the rolling-up movement and/or an unrolling movement of the shutter curtain length (2). The finger guard device according to the invention allows the retraction force of the shutter curtain length to be adjusted, in particular in situ in the case of a pre-installed finger guard device.
