Zusammenfassung:Foldable aircraft wings are disclosed. An example aircraft includes a foldable wing having a fixed wing portion (202), a foldable wing portion (204) and a hinge (400) to pivotally couple the foldable wing portion (204) relative to the fixed wing portion (202). The hinge (400) includes a wing transition portion including wing hinge ribs (602-608) and wing stub ribs (610-616), respective ones of the wing hinge ribs coupled to corresponding respective ones of the wing stub ribs. The hinge (400) also includes a tip transition portion including tip hinge ribs (620-630), where respective ends of the tip hinge ribs (620-630) positioned between corresponding respective ones of the wing hinge ribs (602-608) and the wing stub ribs (610-616) .
