Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a method for sealing and inflating inflatable objects, in particular for sealing and inflating motor vehicle tires. A sealant which is contained in a sealant container (2) is transferred into the inflatable object, and a sealing or pumping pressure is generated using a compressor which is preferably driven by an electric motor, whereby the inflatable object is sealed and inflated to a specified operating pressure. A propellant (12) is added to the sealant during the filling process or after the sealant has entered the inflatable object, said propellant together with at least one of the chemical components of the sealant forming a propellant gas which together with at least a sub-quantity of the sealant forms an aerosol.
