Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a battery charger (400) on board a vehicle, including: - a main voltage converter including: - at least one transformer (TF) including at least one primary and at least one secondary; - at least one upstream bridge (PR2) of controlled transistors supplying power to the primary of the transformer (TF); - at least one downstream bridge (PR3) of controlled transistors that are supplied with power by the secondary of the transformer, allowing, when current- and/or voltage-controlled, a first voltage for supplying power to a battery to be charged to be generated, the downstream bridge including at least two branches (Leg1, Leg2); - at least one isolating switch (TR) that is connected directly or via an inductor (L5) to a midpoint (T1) of a first branch (Leg1) of the downstream bridge, allowing, when open, the downstream bridge to be used to deliver the first voltage and, when closed, at least said first branch of the downstream bridge to be used to generate, by controlling all or some of the transistors of the downstream bridge that is supplied with power by said battery, a second voltage that is different from the first voltage; and - a circuit for monitoring the transistors (410).
