Zusammenfassung: | A remotely reconfigurable remote radio head unit, RRU, comprises: a plurality of RRU band modules; and an access module coupled to at least one of the plurality of RRU band modules comprising: an optical transceiver configured to convert a downlink optical signal having a first data rate to a downlink electronic signal; a multiplexer coupled to the optical transceiver and configured to convert the downlink electronic signal with a first data rate to a plurality of signals, each signal of the plurality of signals having respective second data rates less than the first data rate; a field programmable gate array, FPGA, coupled to the multiplexer, wherein the FPGA comprises: a framer configured to: receive the plurality of signals at the second data rate; frame RRU data from the plurality of signals at the second data rate for an individual RRU band module of the plurality of RRU band modules; and route the framed RRU data to the individual RRU band module of the plurality of RRU band modules; and a plurality of RRU outputs coupled to the FPGA and configured to provide the framed RRU data to the plurality of RRU band modules. |
