KNITTED FABRIC DESIGN SYSTEM

A knitted fabric design system with which a user can easily grasp an overall picture, on design data, of a knitted fabric in the course of the knitting process. A knitted fabric design system 100 includes: a display unit 4 configured to display a design sheet; an input unit 1 with which a user can input knitting codes to knitting units of the design sheet; and a design data generating unit 21 configured to generate, based on the design sheet, design data. The knitted fabric design system 100 further includes: a data extracting unit 23A configured to extract, based on the design data, movement information on the needle bed of the stitches of the knitting units; a derivation unit 23B configured to obtain, based on the movement information, connection information relating to a connection state of stitches that are successive in a wale direction from the starting end to the termination on the design data; and a display adjustment unit 24 configured to cause the display unit 4 to display, based on the connection information, the connection state drawn with a line so that the connection state is superimposed on the design sheet. The movement of a needle bed changed by racking can be displayed with a route movement of the stitch in a knitting width direction.
