Zusammenfassung:An actuation device (24) for an elevator safety device (20) configured for moving in a longitudinal direction along a guide member (14, 15) of an elevator system (2), comprises a base (25) and a lever (26). The lever (26) is pivotably supported by the base (25) in a configuration allowing the lever (26) to pivot between an engaged position, in which at least a portion of the lever (26) or an element (27, 46) moving concurrently with the lever (26) contacts the guide member (14, 15); and a disengaged position, in which neither the lever (26) nor an element (27, 46) moving concurrently with the lever (26) contacts the guide member (14, 15). The lever (26) is also shiftable with respect to the base (25).
