Zusammenfassung:	To provide a metal-resin composite that has high bonding strength (metal bonding strength) between the metal member and the thermoplastic resin member, and excels in platability; a resin composition used for forming such metal-resin composite; and a method for manufacturing the metal-resin composite. The metal-resin composite comprising: a metal member having a rough surface; and a thermoplastic resin member arranged in contact with the metal member on the side having the rough surface, composed of a resin composition that contains 1 to 25 parts by mass of a laser direct structuring additive (B), per 100 parts by mass of a thermoplastic resin that contains 50% by mass or more of the crystalline thermoplastic resin.
