Zusammenfassung:An apparatus includes a body (22) assembly, a shaft defining a longitudinal axis extending from the body (22) assembly, an acoustic waveguide (180) having a flexible portion (166), and an articulation section (130) coupled with the shaft. A portion of the articulation section (130) encompasses the flexible portion (166) of the waveguide (180). The articulation section (130) has a first member and a second member translatable relative to the first member. An end effector (40) has an ultrasonic blade (160) that is in communication with the waveguide (180). An articulating control assembly has a motor (222). The motor (222) is operable to translate the first and second members to thereby deflect the end effector (40) away from the longitudinal axis at the articulation section (130).
