The invention relates to a distributing head (7) for a pneumatically operating distributing machine (1) for seed, fertilizer and the like. The distributing head (7) is connected to a reservoir (3). Circularly symmetrically distributed outlets are arranged on the distributing head (7), which outlets are adjoined by distribution lines (10), which lead to discharge devices (6) for the material to be distributed. Air-permeable blocking elements (11) that interact with the outlets (9) are to be arranged in the distributing head (7) in order to block off one or more of the distribution lines (10). In order to easily make it possible that, in the case of separate outlets of distribution lines (10) that can be blocked off by means of individual blocking elements (11), conveying air flow can escape from the distributing head (7) via the blocked-off distribution lines (10), according to the invention, the blocking elements (11) are designed as blocking wedges (12) having a base part (13) to be inserted into the associated outlet (9) to be blocked, and the blocking wedges (12) each have, above the base part (13) to be inserted into the associated outlet (9), at least one through-opening (14) ending in the region of the lower end of the base part (13).
