Zusammenfassung:	A dermaplaning device comprises a head 1 having a housing with an elongate end and a blade 4 extending along one side of the elongate end. A removable cap 7 is fitted onto the head to cover the blade 4. The cap 7 comprises a blade cover (8, fig 3) which has means for removable attachment to the head. A frangible tab 9 is connected to the blade cover by one or more frangible portions (10, fig.6A). The tab 9 comprises a latching mechanism for attachment to the head, such as shoulder 15 which locates in recess 16 in the head. The latching mechanism is configured so that the cap cannot be removed from the head unless at least one frangible portion (10, fig.6A) is irreversibly deformed. The means for removable attachment to the head, which may be an interference fit, continues to function to retain the blade cover on the head following the irreversible deformation of the frangible portion.
