Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:	An apparatus is configured to implement, by a control device, a method for transporting containers (40) in a system for production of packaged food products. The apparatus arranges first items to be suspended from a conveyor (300), and arranges second items on support surfaces of carriers on a transportation track. The first items are capping devices (41) and the second items are containers (40), or vice versa. The apparatus further operates one of a first magnetic arrangement in the transportation track (200) and a second magnetic arrangement in the respective carrier (21) to move the respective carrier (21) on the transportation track (200) into a position beneath the conveyor (300) to align a second item on the respective carrier with a first item suspended by the conveyor), and controls the respective carrier (21) to move the support surface (25) towards the suspended conveyor (300) to engage the second item with the first item.
