ELECTRIC SWITCH

The invention relates to an electrical switch, the switch comprises: a switch base (1), wherein a mechanical switching element (2) is mounted on the switch base by means of sleeve openings (10) whichare each designed as a hollow profile; and a switch rocker or a switch button (5) having a profile projection (11) with a U-shaped cross section, wherein in the assembled state, the switch rocker or the switch button is in force fit in a longitudinally movable mode and is connected into the hollow profile sleeve opening in the circumferential direction in a shape fit mode. At least one side edge (S1, S2) of the U-shape has a recess (13) on the outside, said recess being delimited on both sides by a recess outer wall (13a, 13b), which forms a functional surface (13c, 13d) extending in the longitudinal direction of the recess by the height of the profile projection, in order to adjoin the complementary hollow profile sleeve openings, respectively. In order to achieve better tolerance prominence and assembly simplicity, it is proposed that the functional surfaces of the outer walls of the grooves are arranged in a highly staggered (delta H) and/or angularly staggered (delta mu) with respect to each other.
