Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a method for controlling a food preparation device, comprising the steps of: - estimating a parameter representative of a torque provided by a geared motor (51) while the geared motor (51) is being controlled, - comparing the estimation of said parameter with a predetermined threshold, and - preventing the operation of a stirring motor and/or of heating means as long as the estimation of said parameter while the means for securing locking are being controlled remains less than the predetermined threshold for a period of time between a predetermined minimum displacement time and a predetermined maximum displacement time, counted from the generation of a geared-motor control signal.
