Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a spring storage brake cylinder having an emergency release device (200), in particular for rail vehicles, and having a spring storage piston (8) which is movable axially within a housing (1) and which can be moved by a storage spring (9) to actuate the brake in the event of a pressure drop and by a spring storage pressure chamber to which pressure medium can be applied to release the spring storage brake, and a non self-locking threaded spindle drive locked in the force flow between the spring storage piston (8) and a piston rod, which can be unlocked via a locking element (27), wherein the part of the threaded spindle drive that can be rotated relative to the housing is assigned a sliding surface for the locking element (27) held in contact therewith, on which surface a locking flank (22) interacting with a locking element (27) in a form-fitting manner to lock the emergency release device (200) is formed. The locking flank (22) is molded into an external thread (23) of the spindle (14).
