The capsule further comprises a lid sealed on the at least one side wall for forming a sealed capsule. The shell contains an aerosol-forming substrate and comprising susceptor material for heating the aerosol-forming substrate within the shell. The system further comprises a power source connected to a load network comprising an inductor for being inductively coupled to the susceptor material of the shell.
