Zusammenfassung:	An air dryer (1) for the positioning in a housing (60) of an electric system (68), in particular a battery housing,wherein the air dryer (1) comprises a housing (2) with at least one housing wall (23), defining a reception cavity (4) for the reception of a desiccant, wherein the housing wall (23) is provided with at least one opening (10, 11);wherein the air dryer (1) further comprises a cover (3) with at least one cover wall (24) arranged over the outer or inner surface of the housing (2) and at least partially covering the housing wall (23), wherein the cover wall (24) is provided with at least one opening (8, 9)whereinthe cover (3) is movable arranged with respect to the housing (2) or the housing (2) is movable arranged with respect to the cover (3) with at least two positions whereinin a first of said positions (400) the openings (8, 9, 10, 11) of the housing wall (23) and the cover wall (24) are aligned allowing air to enter and/or leave the reception cavity (4) andin a second of said positions (300) the openings (8, 9, 10, 11) are out of alignment to prevent air from entering the reception cavity (4); an electric system (68) anda production process of said electric system (68).
