The invention relates to a security element for documents of value, which security element combines two tilt effects in an advantageous manner. According to the invention, the security element consists of two different stamped structures (1 and 3), which are present in two adjacent regions (1 and 2), first stamped structures (1) displaying first information independently or at least nearly independently of the observation angle or tilt angle in at least one plane and second stamped structures (3) displaying second information at a certain observation angle range or tilt angle range, the information of the first stamped structures and the information of the second stamped structures combining to form complete information at this observation angle.
