METHOD AND DEVICE FOR LAPPING GEAR PAIRS

To provide a wrapping method by which gear cutting wrapping of a gear wheel pair is so made as to be more efficient and can be used in a more controlled way.SOLUTION: A wrapping method includes: a step (S1) of specifying goal ease-off for two gear wheels of a first gear wheel pair from several structurally equivalent gear wheel pair groups; a step (S2) of executing first wrapping procedure; a step (S3) of acquiring plural measurement values on tooth surfaces of both gear wheels; a step (S4) of confirming actual ease-off of the first gear wheel pair from the measurement values; a step (S5) of confirming deviation of the actual ease-off to the goal ease-off; a step of confirming a correction value on the basis of the deviation; a step of regulating adjustment wrapping procedure on the basis of the correction value; and a step of executing either further adjustment wrapping procedure or adjustment wrapping procedure for two gear wheels of a second gear wheel pair.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4A
