The aerosol generating article (2) further comprises a heat-conducting component around at least a portion of the aerosol-forming substrate (6) and comprising an outer surface forming at least part of an outer surface of the aerosol generating article (2). At least a portion of the outer surface of the heat-conducting component comprises a surface treatment and has an emissivity of less than about 0.6.
