CONNECTING MEMBER AND CONNECTING METHOD

A connecting member (10) is provided. The connecting member (10) comprises a fastening portion (12) configured to be fastened to an object (74) by means of an adhesive. The fastening portion (12) comprises a fastening area (FA) configured to come into contact with the object (74) to be fastened. The connecting member (10) further comprises at least one supply opening (54) for supplying the adhesive and at least one discharge opening (56) for discharging a part of the adhesive, wherein the at least one supply opening (54) and the at least one discharge opening (56) are arrange outside of the fastening portion (12) or at least outside of the fastening area (FA). A channel (58) connecting the at least one supply opening (54) and the at least one discharge opening (56) is configured to direct the flow of adhesive. The channel (58) comprises an open channel portion (18) that at least partly extends on a surface (20) of the fastening portion (12) and that comprises at least one redirecting portion (26) configured to redirect the flow of adhesive between the at least one supply opening (54) and the at least one discharge opening (56). The at least one open channel portion (18) comprises at least one helical portion (22,24), wherein a first helical portion (22) is connected to the at least one redirecting portion (26), wherein a second helical portion (24) is connected to the at least one redirecting portion (26). Furthermore, a method for connecting the connecting member with an object by means an adhesive is provided.
