Zusammenfassung:	Provided is an organophosphorus compound that is useful, for example, as a flame retardant for an epoxy resin cured product, and a flame retardant resin composition using the organophosphorus compound. The organophosphorus compound is represented by formula (1). The phosphorus-containing epoxy resin has a structural segment represented by formula (b). In the formulas, Ar is a benzene ring, a naphthalene ring, an anthracene ring, or a phenanthrene ring, Z is a phosphorus-containing group represented by formula (a), R1and R2are hydrogen groups that may have a hetero element, R1and R2may be bonded to form a cyclic structure, n1 and n2 are each 0 or 1.
