Zusammenfassung:	The present invention provides a device 100 for monitoring a TCP connection between a server 502 and a terminal 501. The device 100 is thereby configured to detect ACK and SACK messages sent via the TCP connection from the terminal 501 to the server 502, due to packet reordering, store each detected SACK message for a pre-determined time period, determine, whether a detected ACK message is correlated with a stored SACK message, and clear a stored SACK message that is correlated with a detected ACK message.
