Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a method for introducing image information, in the form of an image or in the form of personal information, for example, into a volume hologram, by applying an expanding agent, which can be deactivated by means of UV light and which is printed onto a print side of the volume hologram by an inject printing head in the region which is intended to contain the image information, such that the expanding agent can diffuse into the volume hologram for a defined time period and the lattice plane distance of the Bragg's lattice planes of the volume hologram enlarges as a result, wherein the expanding agent is cured after expiration of a defined time period by exposure to UV light. According to the invention, the expanding agent has a monomer portion greater than 70% and a dynamic viscosity of 5 to 20 mPas and is printed having droplet sizes of between 1 picoliter and 20 picoliters, wherein the defined time period in which the expanding agent can diffuse into the volume hologram equals at least 10 seconds and at maximum 8 minutes, such that the image information can then be read both under visible light and under infrared light. |
