Zusammenfassung:	A battery monitor, comprising a means for estimating a first voltage threshold of a battery that is being discharged, wherein the first voltage threshold corresponds to a low capacity of the battery; a means for retrieving a battery voltage and a battery current of the discharging battery; a means for re-scaling the battery current based on the estimated first voltage threshold and the battery voltage of the discharging battery; and a means for calculating, based on re-scaling the battery current, the battery's capacity before the battery voltage level decreases below the first voltage threshold.
