Zusammenfassung:	The present invention addresses the problem of providing a method for producing metal titanate fibers, which is capable of easily preparing a uniform spinning solution, and which is able to stably spin for a long period of time. A method for producing metal titanate fibers, which comprises (A) a step for preparing a spinning solution, (B) a step for forming precursor fibers by electrospinning the spinning solution, and (C) a step for firing the precursor fibers, and which is characterized in that the step (A) for preparing a spinning solution comprises (a1) a step for obtaining a first solution by mixing a metal salt and a first solvent, (a2) a step for obtaining a second solution by mixing a fiber-forming material, a second solvent and a titanium alkoxide, and (a3) a step for obtaining a spinning solution by mixing the first solution and the second solution.
