The control allows keeping an object, which is located on or close to the driving path/route of the own vehicle, continuously within the field of view of a sensor, a camera or the like which is installed at the own vehicle. This improves the reliability of the travelling control of the own vehicle and the driver can enjoy higher driving comfort and safety.
