Zusammenfassung:	A gantry washing system includes a gantry that can be moved relative to a vehicle, on which gantry washing devices for washing a vehicle are arranged, a control device for controlling the movement of the gantry, and at least one detection device for detecting a position of the vehicle. The gantry of the gantry washing system can be freely moved and oriented relative to the vehicle. The detection unit can further detect an orientation of the vehicle. The control unit is designed to position and move the gantry in a predetermined manner relative to the detected vehicle position and orientation.
