Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a method for detecting defects in a web (30) of nonwoven fibrous material, wherein the nonwoven fibrous material comprises natural fibres, regenerated cellulose fibres, and mixtures thereof, comprising the steps of:advancing the nonwoven web (30) in contact with a roll through a detection zone (40);providing a sensor (20) in the detection zone (40) which detects variations in pressure between the nonwoven web (30) and the surface of the sensor (20);generating a signal from the sensor (20) when variations in pressure indicate the presence of a defect.
