METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PRODUCING HIGH CONTRAST IMAGES

The present invention relates to a method for producing surrounding high contrast images, comprising the following steps: a) a providing step of providing an imaging system (100) including an illumination means (500) having at least one first state and one second state having different light beams respectively, a processing unit (700) and at least one light sensitive image sensor (110); b) an image producing step of producing images (300, 400) using the imaging system (100), in which at least one first image sensor (100) is exposed in one pre-settable exposure period (200), at least one first image (300) and one second image (400) produced at determinable exposure times (310, 410) respectively within one exposure period (200), the illumination means (500) which switches to a first state thereof at one pre-settable illumination period (610) and then to a second state thereof, and the illumination period (600, 610) of the illumination means (500) which is longer or shorter than the exposure period (200) of the imaging system (100); and c) an image synthesis step of producing at least one synthesized image (800) using the processing unit (700) in which at least one synthesized image (800) has higher contrast at least in comparison to one first and second image (300, 400).
