METHOD FOR INCREASING THE ADHESIVE FORCE OF AN ADHESIVE

The invention relates to a method for plasma treating a surface of an adhesive strip, enabling a temporary stopping of the plasma treatment and use of the adhesive strip. In particular, it should be possible to activate the adhesive strip within a production environment at a central location and then to take to another location for use, for which a time frame of two to three hours should be allowed. This is achieved due to a method for increasing the adhesiveness of an adhesive mass layer, in that a) the adhesive layer is covered at least on one side with a release liner, the release liner being permeable to plasma, such that when entirely covering the adhesive layer with the release liner, 10% to 90% of the surface of the adhesive layer is accessible to plasma processing; and b) treating the adhesive layer that is covered with the release liner with a plasma.
