Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a load-bearing battery module (1) for a vehicle (2) which comprises: a module housing (3) having a module side wall (4), a module base (5), and a module cover (6); and a cell packet (7) arranged in the module housing (3) and having a plurality of battery cells (8). At least one spring device (9) is arranged between at least one of a first module side wall (4a) and the cell packet (7). The spring device (9) is formed to press the cell packet (7) in a direction of a second module side wall (4b) opposite to the first module side wall (4a) in order to form a deformation space (10) between the first module side wall and the cell packet. Moreover, the present invention relates to the vehicle (2) which has an electromotor (16) and the battery module (1) in accordance with the present invention.
