Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to groundcover fabrics. A groundcover fabric is made PP-tape yarns that are produced prior fabric construction, i.e. weaving. The yarns contain HALS 0.25% - 3%, preferably 1.5% and NOR-HALS 0.2% - 3%, preferably 0.5%. The functionality of the fire retardants and UV additives is enhanced by the presence of CaCO3and TiO2. The groundcover achieves improved safety, as it combines FR and UV resistance properties and does not include retardant additives that are used in known polyolefin oriented film and tape yarns and which hinder the commonly UV inhibitors used in polyolefin film production.
